READ TO Be
Read to Be exists to promote the love of reading and creativity in kids. It was formed by three siblings who had a passion for reading and then acting out the books when they were young. Knowing how fortunate they were to have an easy access to books and then costumes and toys to act out the books they wanted to make sure that all kids have this gift as well. Read to B is a program that is part of Learning to Lead, an organization that help youth to develop key life and leadership skills so they can make a difference in the lives of others.

​What We do
We collect used costumes and books in November of each year. We then sort and package them together to give as holiday gifts for those who may not have the opportunity for one. We get excited knowing that we can help kids to love to READ and use their imagination to BECOME the characters!
How to help
We are looking for costume and book donations for all ages!

Donation or Pick UP!
We will pick up your costumes and books at your location and/or you can look for a list of area drop off events.
Over 900 Read to Be gifts have been donated!
